Do Not Call Policy

Every number is bought as a record that carries its Do Not Call status, as reported by the data vendor that sourced it. A flagged number is marked where it stands rather than quietly removed, so the person about to dial can see the flag and act on it.

In the sample, the second number carries a Do Not Call mark beside it. The first carries none, which means the vendor reported no flag for it.

Where a purchased record carries a TCPA flag or a litigator flag, the flag shows beside the number it belongs to, never in a footnote. A litigator flag is the vendor’s mark on a person who has sued over calls, and it also turns off one-click dialing.

If it is your number and you do not want it shown, write to support@hoteltrace.app. We will ask enough to be sure the number is yours, take it out, and confirm when it is done.

Out means out of the product: off the screens, out of anything a customer can take from the product, and out of the drafts the product writes. The number also goes on a list we check whenever new contact data arrives, so buying that record again does not put it back. Ask us to stop calling and we take every number we hold for you, not only the one you wrote in about. We answer within 45 days, and usually far sooner.

What stays is the public record. The county appraisal roll still names the owner of a property and the state still publishes who filed its hotel taxes. Those are the agencies’ records, and only the agencies can withdraw them.

If the law protects your information, as it does a judge’s or a peace officer’s, the removal route in the privacy policy takes out more than a number.
